Dr. Jeffrey Matheny knew he wanted to be a chiropractor when he was just a teenager. 

A serious hockey injury led him through a maze of medical doctors, drugs and never getting better.  Finally, he was introduced to the world of chiropractic, and after he was able to get back out on the ice, he knew that he needed to be a part of that healing for other people.

Dr. Matheny attended his first four years of college at North Dakota State University and Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota.  He then received a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri.

With the opportunity to work as an associate doctor on the west coast, Dr. Matheny left his small home town of Hutchinson, Minnesota to begin his career in Seattle, Washington.  Two years later, in the spring of 1998, Dr. Matheny found residence in Bellevue and there he established his office:  Matheny Chiropractic Center.

Dr. Matheny has contributed to the local community as President of Washington Chiropractic Alliance, an organization that provides public education about chiropractic health.  He is also involved in organizations such as the Bellevue Downtown Association and Doctors Speakers Bureau.  Matheny Chiropractic Center is a major sponsor of the Bellevue Arts Fair and a contributing sponsor of the Bite of Seattle and the Puyallup Fair.

Dr. Jeffrey L. Matheny is committed to integrating family health care with his history of chiropractic in athletics. He uses a "whole person approach" when taking care of his patients.
